What a week this is turning out to be, have just had a phone call from an
elderly friend of mine telling me that her 18 year old grandson was hit and
killed by a car - this young lad had a very bright future in front of him,
he had began his studies to become a Doctor.

I"m so sorry. What a crappy week.
Although I guess its been a great week at Rainbow Bridge, there is no
rejoicing down here.

Lois, this is terrible. I know how upset you were when you rang me
about Eve. All my sympathy to your friend, they do say only the
brightest and best are taken.

Such a sad, sad waste. First a wild woman, then a dear baby, then a boy in his
prime who could have been the one to cure AIDS. Our condolences to your friend,
Lois, and prayers for a healed heart for everyone.
Blessed be,

There is a lot of sadness in the world. And joy and sunlight. Part of the
price you pay for a big family or for a big circle of friends is you get to
share both. Its also part of the reward.

Please pass my condolences on to your friend. As you say, this has been
a terrible week. Folllowing the atrocities in Beslan I'm feeling very
