Poor, poor Buster

Today is Senyah's birthday. Never mind which one - she's only 21, with
a 1952 birthdate. We have another anniversarry coming up in a week,
too.

I took her out to Red Lobster for dinner.

As I was lowering the blinds, I saw that Buster was approaching the
door. Now, he doesn't like to stay in, with us gone, so I told him
we'd be back in a little while.

When we got back two hours later, the first thing I did was check for
Buster. He was lying in the weeds under a tree, near our window. His
chin was on one of the logs used as a border. The look on his face was
miserable.

Poor baby, he practically leaped into my arms when I reached down to
get him, and he started purring up a storm, right away.

Next time we have shrimpies, we should take him with us (yeah, right -
grin).

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

Poor baby. I think eventually he will be happy to stay in while you go off
for a while. You can always bring left overs for penance. Happy Birthday
Senyah!!

Well, obviously you just don't know how to count Mark.  I'm only 22 with a
1951 birthdate and I see no conflict there, do *you*?  LOL

Happy birthday Senyah - scritches for poor Buster.

But of course, I have no conflict with that. Especially since I'm the
one who started telling Senyah that she was only 21 (grin). In fact,
I've been saying it for so many years, she actually had to ask me how
old she really is, one year (evil grin) - to which I replied, "Why 21,
dear."

You mean you didn't even bring him a "doggie bag"?  (Or
should I say "kitty bag"?)

Much as our cats love their daily shrimp, they do NOT want it adulterated
with any human favored seasonings or cooking processes.  In fact the pickey
little beggars only like freshly thawed cooked large shrimp hand minced, not
the fairly inexpensive little bay shrimps.
