Thank you all; Tallulah's surgery went well and she's fine. We'll be
picking her up first thing in the morning. I can't wait. :-)
Hubert will be thrilled - he's been a sad, sad little kitten, missing
his mama. He's used to his mom and me going outside together; when
he's heard the door last night and today he's come running, and when
he sees it's me all by myself he cries, poor little baby. He does let
me comfort him a little, and he does enjoy playing with me, but it's
Not The Same. He's even had to chew on his *own* tail.
I must say, being without his mom for 36 hours seems to have made
Hubert bond with his humans a little more. He was not still *really*
scared of us; he was 90% sure by now we won't eat him, but there's
still that 10% to worry about. Without Tallulah around, he's been
more accepting of petting and has wanted more attention from us,
though I don't know if it'll last after she gets back, especially
after we take *him* to TED tomorrow afternoon for his first shots.
Anyway, I expect a joyful reunion tomorrow morning and am looking
forward to having all my kitties back where they belong. :-)

What a relief. Glad to hear about Hubert's new attitude. Your little
momma cat will be home in a few hours.

We're getting dry, though it's not the word I'd use quite yet, but
we've still got a mess. I've been picking up limbs every chance I get
and they're still everywhere; it's a wonder our trees aren't just big
bare trunks.
Tallulah and Hubert thank everyone for the purrs; Lula is still moving
*very* gingerly and since she got here has done nothing but sleep.
(If she doesn't eat soon I'm breaking out the baby food.) Since she
got here I've done nothing but try to keep Hubert off her. The little
b*stard kitten will cuddle up to her and blink at me to indicate
"honest, I'm just going to snuggle and take a nap" and when I sit back
down he pounces on her. I was halfway hoping that his shots this
afternoon would slow him down a bit, but no. He was not fazed by TED,
nor by the 150-pound rottweiler sharing the waiting room.
Hube will be 7 weeks old tomorrow, and he weighs 3 pounds. :-D

Whoa! thats a big baby! Spicey was about a pound or so at that age. She's still
petite. I hope momma gets some rest.
