Hey Christine,

I had to start using Mozilla at work, so thought I'd start using it at
home too. I've downloaded Thunderbird, and it works ok. The only problem
is, I can't create a signature. For the life of me, I can't find out how
to do it. I see that you use a signature, so how did you create it?

You make a file, Win Notepad is ok as we're not posting HTML or RTF
here, just the text, not the two hyphens above it - Thunderbird makes
those. Save the file where you can find it and then tell Thunderbird
where it is: Tools - Account Settings - choose the account you want to
use the sig for - check the box "Attach this signature:" - and either
type in the file path or click on the Choose-button and find your file
that way. Hit OK at the bottom of the window and - Voilà - you have a
sig file.

If my explanation isn't clear, feel free to drop me a line by mail or
over Y-Msgr.

Crystal clear. I tried to write the signature into that box. ;o) Looks
like it's working now. Thanks, Christine!

Yep, and it chops off automatically when replying, just like it should too.

When in need, drop a line to your friendly local blonde geek (haha). I'm
used to talking my mom through computer stuff on the phone when she is
close to panic as "that thing there in the middle is doing like that
again..." or something similar, and probably pointing at her screen
while telling me this... on the phone... :/
