DH still hasn't found anything, so he still really needs purrs. I, OTOH, have two possibilities I like. I'm currently temping at a company I really like, replacing a girl who quit very suddenly. Someone else who does basically the same stuff I'm doing says she started there as a temp herself, so I think there may be room to hope they might decide to keep me. :-) The other is a bit longer-range. I put in an application with the city to become a police dispatcher, and my application has passed the "qualified?" review, which is stage 1. Stage 2 is a written exam, scheduled for the 18th. Any/all purrs, doggie drool, baby gurgles, etc. :-) gratefully received. My DH was going to do that. She was all set, but then had to withdraw her application to take care of my health. Fortunately, I'm a lot better now and she has just found a great opportunity.
