It worked for me.  Is it possible the URL wrapped?  If so, you will need to

I checked the url again and it worked. Are you at work behind a firewall?

You could try the following url http://dailytelegraph.news.com.au/index.jsp
, this gets you to the main page. The story Claws for concern as fat cat put
on diet is on the left hand side almost at the bottom under the NEWS heading

No, at home. We do have a router with firewalling but it's never been
an issue with Web browsing [it knows to let Netscape have full access
out].
