We call some people "feline". For me that's a great compliment, and
makes me wonder if you'd like to say who you think is the most feline
male and female human you know or have heard about. There are lots of
choices - for instance, all the actresses who've played Catwoman over
the years. For many people, the latest, Halle Berry isn't very feline.
But there's one woman of several cast as Catwoman in the old 1960s
Batman TV series who's feline with a vengeance, and she's my choice.
Eartha Kitt isn't merely catlike, she IS a cat! Listen to her purr and
growl - look at her stunningly feline face. She's definitely my choice

As for men, I'd say the closest is David Hyde Pierce, TV's Niles
Crane - although he says he prefers dogs and keeps several of them.
He's agile, lithe and quick in his movements like a cat, he has slim
feline features, and he did a superb narration of the audiobook "The
Autobiography of Foudini M. Cat" by Susan Fromberg Schaeffer.
Who are your choices of catman and catwoman, hmm?

My long lost love calls me "kilty cat" and it just makes me grin from ear to
ear :)

Halle admits she didn't even *like* cats until she did that movie.

Julie Newmar was also quite cat-like when she was on that show. But Eartha
has 'em all beat.

I wouldn't have thought of David Hyde Pierce until you mentioned him. He
does move a bit like a cat, doesn't he? Yeah, I think he gets my vote.

Congratulations! You've chosen the two people a recent A & E
Biography documentary on movie & TV cat women chose as the most feline
of the litter.

Well, like my cat anyway, if you count when he falls down. ;)

Actually, Bobcat, I do think that DHP is rather doglike. Look at how
Niles looked at Daphne all that time-- if that wasn't a Labrador
Retriever look, I don't know what is. ;)
Anthony LaPaglia (Simon Moon, and Jack Malone) is basset hound-like.
;)
BTW, another myth exploded-- remember "Girl", the famous whippet
"Maris Dog" from season 5 of "Frasier"? I met a whippet today on the
subway, and instead of being aloof and haughty, she was all waggies.
;)

I think he's more like some small breed - something high-strung and
fast-moving. :)

her?
even her name is feline, I always loved Eartha. Jean.P.
