Gloria went on vacation last Friday morning and left me in charge of the 16
horses, the two dogs she left behind, and her cats, Leap-in-the-Air and
Tubs.

Tubs is a big solid gray boy. He lived here with me for several months when
he was a kitten and is the same age as Baby Eyes. It was after he decided to
go back to Gloria's to live that I adopted Tommy, Abelard and Eli. Tubs
hasn't been near my house in more than three years, even when Gloria has
been gone for longer times, but this time he is getting lonely. Last night,
he was in my driveway.

When I went out to collect Tommy and Eli before I went to bed, and they were
having in yowling match with Tubs. There must have been at least one close
encounter, because today Eli has a Roman nose.

She's had him since he was tiny, and how she picked that name, I have no
idea, but the cat has a constant issue with his weight.

She's improving slowly. I'm giving her kitty vitamins, fresh eggs, and
Purina ONE Special CAre "Sensitive Systems" (with turkey, rice and oatmeal)
dry food, which she likes. It's only been a few days but I am starting to
see a little improvement in her coat. Also have ordered Advantage from an
ebay seller. Is $33.95 including shipping for the #9+ cat 6-pack a good
deal? I figure two tubes will cover the kittens plus Abelard. And I keep
applying lotion to her sores.

If you are seeing improvement already, that's actually quick progress!! good
deal. We used to give the cats that liked them eggs once in a while. It
really is good for their coat. I wish I could get Sugar and Pearl to eat
them as they could both use a bit.

I keep chickens so I have plenty of eggs.  Sometimes both my cats will lap
up a beaten raw egg, other times they aren't averse to scrambled with some
cheese in it.  You could also try whisking up a couple of eggs in milk, they
might not even notice them ;-)

they actually aren't keen on milk. I should try a really fresh egg with
pearl. Sugar would never but Pearl might.
