an update:
Crackles had a bad weekend, very swollen and listless. Sunday night I was
crying because I figure in the morn I'd take Crackles in to be put to sleep.
Morning came he seemed perky and hungry. I took him in to the vet for her to
look at him, she changed his meds and gave him a shot of cortazone. He is
draining liquid alot but eating well and purring when petted. I know its
going to be soon tho :(
Another hurricane is heading for Florida. They are unsure how it will effect
us but with just a tarp overhead to protect what is left of our belongings
we won't have much left no matter how much we get of it. I don't know what
we are going to do. It should be here saturday, not much we can do before
then and now. Think good thought. p

Many purrs, prayers and good vibes heading your way. Hurricane Frances is
possibly going to be nasty. I hope not.
Keep safe. Thinking of you all, human and feline.

Purrs for Crackles to feel better and for Frances to turn elsewhere. If
you're lucky we might get her instead. Actually not too worried, though
I probably should be. Please take care of yourselves and remember that
belongings aren't everything. Just save a few of the most precious
mementos and get you and the cats out of there.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear Crackles is not doing well. I hope
the cortizone and new medications will help. Many, many purrs are on
their way for Crackles and his mommy - and that the storm will avoid
their area. Hoping their house-hunting goes well.

We are purring really hard for Crackles's health, and that the
hurricane misses them. They surely don't need any more complications
right now.

Purrs and prayers that Crackles is feeling better and will hang on in
there a while.
More purrs and prayers that the hurricane misses you and does very little
damage to anyone.
