Right here on my desk a moment ago, Eli walked up to the sleeping Abelard,
put a paw on his back and began licking his head, as if to say "I'm sorry
for picking on you lately, and I'm glad you're home and safe." Then he
grabbed Abelard's neck gently with his teeth, as if to say "Just remember
that I'm boss over you."
