First, we are sending purrs to those in need. I have not been able to
log onto my server for the past four days so I am going to try to catch
up in the next day or two, but in the meantime, there are hoomans and
cats alike that need purrs and we have identified those posts and are
sending the purrs needed.
Secondly, I have confirmed that Sam is Sam. Our neighbors were at the
house yesterday doing some yard work. Their house is under contract but
until it is actually sold they are responsible for keeping the yard
looking nice. I went over and and I was nice, I really was. I had
called Sam and he went with me. I pointed him out and asked if this was
Sam that we had inherited. They confirmed it and said that with her
allergies they just couldn't take Sam with them. They felt there were
several families feeding Sam and that he would be all right on his own.
<grrrr> I chose not to point out that Sam needed more than just food.
Like Krista said about Tallulah, "Their loss, not ours or Sam's".
I took some pictures of Sam yesterday and wanted to share. There are
also a couple of pictures of my yard watchers. I have been looking for
a Green Man for several years and finally found one that just suited me
and seemed to speak to me. Also, I found a birdhouse with a gentle
soul. I think these two spirits lead Sam to our yard since I placed
them in our yard the day before Sam showed up. I know that with Sam in
our lives I'm spending a lot more time outside and consequently I am
doing yard work that has needed to be done for quite some time. That
would be the Green Man's influence I believe.
Anyhow, if you have a minute, take a look at Sam. I'm sure he would
appreciate the attention.

Ahh. I'm in love, Sam looks so much like Max, esp. the violets shot.
Pretty cat. Blessings! Norm

Awwww! What a sweetie-pie! How could anyone just "leave" a cat like that?
Thanks for taking him into your home and heart :)

Wow, he's just SO handsome. What beautiful blue eyes he has.
When I saw the one captioned "pet me", I almost had to pet the screen.
Luckily Stirling came in so gave him a little scritch instead.

He looks kind of like a lynx - well, without the ear tufts. It's his
facial coloring, makes him look like a wildcat. Beautiful boy!

He looks like such a sweet guy. I loved the garden pictures-it looks
so tranquil there. Sam looks like he's really enjoying himself lying
in the violets. It's so nice that he's found a real home.
Do you plan to try to integrate him with your indoor cats or do you
think that's impractical?
BTW I snuck a look at your other kitties and they're just darling.

He definitely has some Siamese in him. Does he talk a lot? MLB

Oh, he is a gorgeous boy! I've never seen a cross-eyed cat before. Litterbox
offerings to your former neighbours for just leaving him!

Ah, I always try to give folks the benefit of the doubt, so I was
hoping it would turn out that they didn't just abandon him. I wonder
if they actually bothered to ask to see if he was eating with other
families.

He's a great looking guy, and no doubt better off away from his old
family where he was a disposable item instead of a member of the
family

Awww, he's beautiful, Julie! He's so sweet looking. I just don't
understand people who could just go off and leave such a darling.
I'm spending more time outside too, since Tallulah still refuses to
use the litterbox, but instead of doing yard work I dragged up a lawn
chair and usually take my book. Maybe I need a Green Man. ;-)

He is SO handsome! And those blue eyes! Is he part Siamese?
[inheriting...]
That's how my family and I got Scrappy (RB). Her people, my former
next door neighbors, had a baby and decided that cats and babies don't
mix. Scrappy was the most wonderful cat -- bonded with anyone who had
a lap and brought us dead birds to play with. Gosh, I miss her!
