A little while ago I heard someone banging the kitchen cupboards.
Sammy regularly opens any cupboard she can reach, and when I looked I
could see her standing on her hind legs pawing the cupboard. When I
told her "NO!" she sat down and looked at me. A couple minutes later I
heard the banging again, and saw Sam again standing on her back legs
at the cupboard. Just as I was about to scold her again she sat down
and the banging continued.

When I got up and went to check out the situation, I found that Rocky
was in the cupboard trying to get out. I suspect, but can't prove,
that Sammy opened the cupboard, and talked him into going inside, then
slammed the door. Also, now that I think about, it really didn't look
like she was trying to open the door, more like she was holding it
closed ;-)

LOL! Back when I still had my record player, something similar happened. The
player came with a glass cabinet for the vinyls. One morning, Frank opened
the door, somehow got Nikki to walk inside (she loves confined spaces, so it
won't have been hard), and then slammed the door on her. I got up out of bed
to find a frantic little kitty inside the glass door, pressing her paws
against the door and opening her mouth at me (I couldn't hear her through
the door). I suspected Frank thought he would get to eat all the breakfast
food if he got Nikki out of the way first.

I wonder if she'll be able to talk him into going in there again!

If she does he'll have to start calling her "The Siren".

It wouldn't surprise me at all if you were right. LOL! I remember the day I
couldn't find Isadora, until  I finally looked in my linen cupboard.  She
was HIGHLY indignant, but she was a cat who wanted the household cabinets to
be kept in order, and knew it was up to her to inspect them personally.  It
couldn't have been ALL my fault.....

Thanks for the laugh Steve. I'm glad I wasn't eating or drinking. :-)

Kitties are so much more entertaining than tv.
