Hi Lois,

Have just hit Vegas and have finally got internet again.  High speed cost
$10.00 for 24 hours. Had to get up at 3.00 a.m. yesterday to catch 6.30
plane to Seattle and then wait 7 hours there for plane to Vegas, arriving
here at 8.00 p.m. last night, exhausting.

Worst news was losing our camera on Holland America bus in Denali.   We
chased after it from Denali to Fairbanks but although we knew they had it
were just simply incompetent or stupid whichever, we never got it back so
lost some film and had to buy a disposable camera.   Next purchase a digital
one!!   Big joke, John tried to take a photo of some sheep in the big
national park through window of bus and instead turned around  blinking, he
had the disposable camera the wrong way round and had taken a photo of his
face rofl

Temp 99 degrees here i.e. about 40c.   Going to hit pokies shortly.   Will
be on line here for a while so will be in contact again.

Tell Ken the ship was beautiful and so was the Alaskan scenery.

Love

Bev

PS John has just put his hand on the double glazed window and says it's red
hot!!!!  yikes

Is it just me or is there something funny about a New Zealander going all
the way to the US to photograph sheep? ;o)

Sorry, couldn't resist. Thanks for the update, Lois. So sorry about the
camera, but it sounds like they are having a good time anyway.

That crossed my mind as well, especially as cats are much cuter. Glad
the holiday is going well, though I bet you're looking forward to seeing
B&C and FSP again.
