I just weighed Sammy again.  Now keep in mind that she's exactly 19 weeks
old, that's 4 months 3 weeks, yes, just 133 days and... she weighs 6.6
pounds!!!  I'm beginning to be afraid!!!!

Hugs,

Yes, be afraid.  Be very afraid.

Rosie is 15 months and weighs somewhere between 7 and 8 pounds.  And she
isn't skinny.  She's a rock solid tiny little cat.

LOL!   Don't be afraid.   As she hasn't hurt you up until now I doubt she
will.  She is almost as big as Boyfriend at his adult weight and *he* seems
a big cat to me.  I'd like to know the weight she ends up at.
I don't know if we have Maine Coons here in UK, possibly but not common, and
I don't know of anyone near here who has one.  I assume their temperaments
are nice.

Hey, this might explain all the rumours here that there are big cats living
in the wild. A lot of panic about this, as a number of credible witnesses
claim to have seen them.
Perhaps they are Maine Coons!
Do they come in black?  or tawny?

See http://www.fanciers.com/breed-faqs/maine-coon-faq.html and/or
http://www.mcbfa.org/ for basic info on the breed. Also see
http://www.maine-coon-cat-club.com/ , which is a UK-based Maine Coon
club's site.

We call QC our "gentle giantess"  She's 23-25 lbs. and as sweet as they
come.  She hugs her human friends, and takes care of the brood.  Her
idea of disciplining the kits (Pine Cone, Huey, and Squeakers) is to
hold them down with a paw (she's left pawed) and clean them.  They don't
act up much when QC is around, for some reason.

QC is a brown/gray tabby with tufted ears and a very fluffy and very
tempting tail monster.  We call QC our "gentle giantess"  She's 23-25
lbs. and as sweet as they come.  She hugs her human friends, and takes
care of the brood.  Her idea of disciplining the kits (Pine Cone, Huey,

LOL! If it makes you feel any better, my Bonnie (the only female
cat I've ever had other than Fluffy when I was a kid) is about a
year and a half, maybe a couple of months more, and she is now
about 11 pounds. She started off last year when I trapped her at
about 5 pounds and ~5 months - a scrawny little half-starved feral.
She still acts like she is half-starved at mealtime, and wants food
around the clock. She's getting better at realizing food is not
available 24/7.  :)

Wow! This cat is 4.5 months old? She's going to be a big one, alright!!
She looks as big as Jessie.

Speaking of whom, Jessie is so adorable. Love that sweet face of hers.

Whoa!  She *is* a big girl!  And she's adorable, and so is Jessie - I
just love her little bisected face.

I think Joe Kitty was 3 months old when he weighed 8 lbs.

He's now 18.8.
