Hanadeka

We've all seen those funny photos of pets taken through a fish-eye lens. I
found a postcard at the post office with one of those pictures - a tabby
cat - and finally found out who takes these pics. His (her? I don't know
Japanese) name is Yoneo Morita and the series is called Hanadeka (which
apparently means "big nose"). There are some pictures, including the one on
the postcard I found (third row, second pic from the left, brown tabby) at:

I find those a tad disturbing and yet they are cute.  Kind of like those big
eyed flower children wall art that were popular in the 60's.

These are funny!  I've bought some of these cards as gifts before at a local
arts and crafts store (Michaels).
