Hey guys, do any of you know where I might find a minature (6" - 12")
statuette of the goddess Bast / Bastet? I saw one in a catalogue for
$60.00 but didn't want to pay that much.

I did a search on ebay. i found these three things also there were a bunch
more things listed as bast but i didn't look at all for them the bottom url
is that of my search maybe you can find soemthing there

let me know if these work please or if you find anything whenever i get the
time i'll try to search more for you

I got one for $16 in an "occult" book shop tht sells crystals, tarot
decks, candles, etc. It's not quite that tall, though - I'd say closer
to three inches - but they had larger ones. (However, I was looking for
one small enough to join my cat collection on a shelf of a china cabinet.)

I bought a small Bast for my cats, too. The house God is Anubis so my
cats
demanded equal time...

I thought my cats were house gods...

There's a catalogue called "Pyramid" that sells occult stuff; I've seen Bast
statues. They probably have an online catalogue. I got mine at a "cat stuff"
store. I still have the tag around here somewhere I could get the mfg. info.,
but it's probably bigger than you're looking for. Here's a pic of Frank doing

Maybe a longshot, but try "AzureGreen" in your Google. I don't remember
their website. They deal in Pagan/Wiccan stuff and have some figurines.
Also look up the Pyramid Collection, a catalog of new-agey stuff, I've
seen some Bastets over the years. I have an itty-bitty brass one that I
got at a local Wicca shop some years ago, like 3 inches high. They are
popular at mainstream new-age shops like you find in malls.

It's a local store, but I'm sure she could either ship or tell you
where she got it. Mine is black, about 6-1/2" tall, and cost $26.00.

are pendants or jewelry, others are statues/statuettes.
