Nearly 6 inches (150mm) of rain in 2 hours, concentrated in a very small area {caused by some sort of temperature inversion I hear}. Hereabouts we only had an inch/25mm. But if you have any spare thoughts & purrs for the victims (who lost lots of cars, house contents & quite a few houses themselves too) please use them. Best wishes Gordon & the Terrible Trio.
