My two foster kittens Mocha and Latte, about 13 weeks old, do the strangest
things.  They are borderline semi-feral, they don't like to be touched and
back away when approached.  I can pet them as long as I come up from behind.
Anyway, here are some of the weird things they do:

They both hop in the bath tub after I take a shower and run around like
maniacs.  Latte gets in the litterbox after I completely change the litter
and rolls around in it.  I don't understand that one.  They fight over who
gets to sit in the magazine basket.  They've vanquished the magazines from
it, too.  Mocha runs around in circles making his "brrrrrr" noise.  I've
never heard either one of them meow, and only recently have I heard them
purr.

Bootsie says she wants to know who your catnip supplier is...it sounds like
really good stuff :-)

Sandpaper kisses, a cuddle and a purr. I have an alarm clock that's covered
in fur!

My kitten was feral too, It was a long long time before I heard him meow
and longer again till he purred I had thought he was mute! When he did do
these things It was so quietly I only knew he was purring if I held his
tummy, his
meow was so soft I was scared if he was trapped anywhere I wouldn't hear
him, but he's getting louder now, he still doesn't really like me cuddling
him
though he'll tolerate it for a little while, but still wont let anyone else
pick him up
,wont go outside, except on the veranda, and he's almost 3 now. Jean P.
