The spirit of Shakespeare hovers over our simple home as our Roxie sits
in the front window...

Hubby came home a few nights ago and saw our dainty little girl in the
window, and a neighborhood tom on the porch making eyes at her. He
jumped down, and immediately another lusty young tom came forward, as a
third took his place in line, down in the bushes in front of the porch.

She sits and preens as any young princess would, knowing that there are
handsome young fellows out there who are cursing the wicked witch who
keeps the fair maiden locked up. That would be me, folks. And boy, is
she a little tease! Have you ever seen the Tom and Jerry cartoon where
there is a white Persian on a rich lady's leash, and she's got her tail
up and is strutting her stuff for Tom and shaking her little behind in
that I'm-So-Bootylicious way? That's what she's doing. And our vet has
confirmed beyond doubt that she is sompletely and undeniably spayed!

Stosh is jealous as hell over these visitors and gets very hyper when
the toms come about. Like he's got anything to gripe about. He's
well-neutered, and we got him in the nick of time...so to speak.

"Uh, dear, what's Stosh doing to my leg?"
"He's playing with you, isn't he"
"This is the kind of playing you go to confession for if you're
Catholic, dear."
"You mean he's playing doctor on your leg?"
"He's playing Dr. Ruth on my leg, now call the #@$%*! vet before he
starts         spraying!"

He was scheduled to have been neutered three weeks from then; but after
the call they moved it to three days later. And still he's jealous of
the toms. So much for decreasing the drive!

Blessings,

Baha

Great story. I laughed out loud as I read it. Thanks for posting.

Takeoff is an option.
Landing is a must!

And in the end on wheels we will depend.
