It's always struck me as funny how Frank and Nikki often echo or mirror each
other's position, whether they are sleeping or sitting or walking. When they
do that, I call them my twins, though they're not siblings.
Here are some examples of what I mean:

Maybe it's quite natural that they should take up the same position when
they are near each other. They are showing the world that they are a team.
But that doesn't explain what happened this morning. Frank was lying on the
bed and Nikki in a chair where the back hid her from Frank's view. I could
see both, and they were in the exact same position again, washing that
awkward spot on the back that they have to twist around to get at. They were
facing the same way, too.
Even if they're not actual twins, I think they share the same mind at times.

Marina, those are *amazing* pictures. Especially the heart one, it is so
precious! And the sausage one. It's like they *do* share the same mind.
My Frank and Bootsie are real "running buddies." They go outside together, come
in together. But you can tell *she* calls all the shots. But they don't sleep
together like yours do.

Oh, that is funny! I love the "heart of cats" photo! They're just like an
old married couple (don't tell them I said that!)

More importantly don't tell Waffles. It's a good job her slave's in
France or she might be sharpening her claws ready for revenge. ;-)

A house is not a home, without a cat.

They look like they're really fond of each other and it's so sweet.
The "heart of cats" picture is so touching.

It is called teamwork. They are such a good team they operate in
tandem even when off duty.

They are sooo cute! Ya know, I bet there could be a new Olympic sport
- synchronized kitties. Frank and Nikki would be sure to win the gold
for Finland.

That's hilarious! Roxy and Smudge used to do this when they slept on my
bed (doesn't happen as much now that Licorice is in the mix). They would
often be not just in the same position, but parallel to each other so
they'd be facing in the same direction. I used to call them Copycats. :)
