Today we took Fez and Rufous for their annual checkup and vaccinations.
They did great! Not a peep out of them, not even when they got poked.
Fez was afraid of TED for some reason, but Rufous was most indiferent. :)
They're both sleeping now, after having dinner with the gang.
Fez is 2 oz heavier than Rufous, they are both almost 12 lbs!

Aww, what good boys they are. Scritches to them for being so brave.

Their weight and good health could be from all that gourmet cooking
you do. Or do they get any of it? I always felt it was cruel and
inhuman...unfeline?...to cook something that smells wonderful and not
give any to my cats. I especially felt bad when Sheba was on insulin
and could not have any. Anyway, I am glad your boys are doing so well.

They rarely eat hoomin food, the only thing they really like is tuna.
I've tried giving them chicken, but they ignore it. Unless they steal
it, then they nibble on it a bit first. Luna is the only one that likes
some hoomin food, but again, only if she steals it. If you put it in her
bowl, she'll ignore it.
Now, just because they don't eat what I cook, that doesn't mean they
don't supervise. They're always on the counter near me when I'm cooking.
I figure if we get some hair in the food it's just extra fiber... :)

LOL, a true cat slave!!! I know exactly what you mean, sometimes I feel
like I could hack up a hairball we've ingested so many over the years!

Do they make Petromalt in flavors humans might like? I could use some
sometimes. :-)

Ack! Saw the subject line and thought the kids were ailing. So glad it was
a normal event. Our Mistletoe is afraid of TED, but then she's afraid of
everything. Smokey, OTOH, *loves* to go see TED. Constant purrs and
smurgles (on the doc) the whole time he's being seen.
Go figure.
