Weeble's birthday - his First - is officially marked in his file at TED's at
8/18/03, but I plan on celebrating it on the 22nd, as that's the day I
brought the tiny little buggar into the house. I made a big to-do out of
his 1/2 birthday, and now I'm not sure what to do for his full birthday.
I'm sure what he wants is to get rid of ALL the other kitties in the house,
leaving him as the sole fuzzy (I can just see him running through the house
shouting "Whhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeee, It's only meeeeeeeeeee" at the top of
his kitty lungs), but that ain't likely to happen. I have all that Fancy
Feast that Jill sent (MamaKat hasn't been around lately, and even when she
is, she won't go near the trap, and we end up with a raccoon or possum in
it), but he just sniffs at it and walks away (and then it gets gobbled by
the kittens) whenever I put out a can.
I suppose the best thing I can do for the big galoot it lock up the kittens
and see if he will play with any of the toys - he never gets a chance to
with them around! He might even take a nibble at the Fancy Feast if they're
not present.
Anyone have any other ideas????

Catnip. You don't need another toy - get just the nip, as fresh as you can
(well, dried probably, but not dried and left on the store shelf too
long), put some in the toe of an old sock, tie the sock in a knot to hold
the nip in place, and present it to Weeble.

Good lord, it's been a year already? I shouldn't be surprised as from
his pics he's grown quite a bit. The sweet boy. Please remember to give
him extra squeezes and hugs from us.

LOL! He did try to stuff a couple of kittens in that envelope with my card,
didn't he?

Does he like tuna? Or maybe canned salmon. Persia went absolutely NUTS
when I was making salmon croquettes last week. Alas, she's on a strict diet
so I couldn't indulge her.

Happy purr day (in advance) Weeble. Hobbes, Selena and Lacey wish for
you lots of treats and toys and a sunbeam for napping. I send chin
scritches and ear rubs.

Mine would kill for either pilchards or sardines in tomato sauce.

Our crew love baby food, especially lamb, ham, and beef. They also love
special "me" time. Catnip is really good for the grown-up junkie, and
cat dancers are very popular. Ours wasn't particularly thrilled with
the Cat Music CD that Krista gave them, but they love Auntie Krista's
fishing pole with the Canadian "fuzzy" on the end. There are some happy
kitties when that comes out.
