This is some kinda newsgroup! Yesterday I posted a little survey,
titled "And whiskers on kittens...", asking you what your Favourite
Things were about your kitties. I'd meant to crosspost it to two other
cat newsgroups but forgot, so later I sent it to them separately.
The results? So far, just one person has responded to those TWO other
NGs. But at this one, so far dozens and dozens of you have written
very interesting notes about what you love about your furry families.
I'm not sure what it proves, other than you're one special bunch of
people - but then, ailurophiles usually are.

This is definitely the *best* of the cat ng's :)  People here are friendly
and don't flame each other like on another group I could mention but won't
(heheh).

At the end of last year a bunch of us exchanged holiday cards.  Since I'm
unemployed I don't know that I'll be able to do that this year, but if I can
I'd do it again :)

You can put yourself down as unable to reciprocate this year and receive
the love from the rest of us.  BTW, are you interested in selling those
lamps?  If so, please email me.

It nice that you didn't crosspost.  Since some newsgroups are nicer than
others most prefer not to share threads with other groups.  I often causes
trouble.  So you did just the right thing by posting it separately to the
groups

This is a lovely group.  I am soooo thankful that Flippy hinted me
over here from one of the *other* groups, which shall be nameless.

Who thinks it was an awfully good topic, or it wouldn't have gotten so
much response!
