Dear Pat:
Aunt Sherry says we need to show you more pictures of us so your kitten fever
doesn't wane.
We are healthy, and growing, but still very much babies. We have perfect (well,
almost perfect) housecat manners, and we are not plant-diggers nor are we
trash-diggers. Our litterbox habits are impeccable. We have learned to roll
over on our backs and say "Don't kill us, look how cute we are." when mean old
Bootsie gives us the Evil Eye. It works every time.
Oh, and that nasty incident with the flaming tablecloth. We didn't do it. We
were framed.
We are looking forward to our trip next week and hope all goes well.
Love,
The Graykittens
(We don't have names yet. Uncle L calls us "Billy and Lilly" but Aunt Sherry
and us both think those are really stupid names for a cat)

OH MY G*D. SO cute I could hyper ventilate. (Of course, I laughed hard
enough to hyperventilate over "Don't kill us, look how cute we are." Poor
Bootie girl ;)

Very nice pictures. As a photographer, I am always interested in how to
light cats for portraits. From the lack of eye reflection, and the
highlight in the eye, my guess was that you used an on-camera flash
elevated off the lens axis. Or did you use an even higher free-standing
flash, maybe with an umbrella?

LOL, you are giving me far too much credit. All I know how to do is point the
camera and push the button. It is an older camera, an Olympus C 2020-Z. That's
all I know! But *thank you* for the compliment.

Whoever could have dumped these precious babies! At least they had the sense
to go to the right place to do it. If it was random, then they are sooooooo
lucky, but I believe these things are preordained.

They could start a flame in anone's heart. How about TiT and Tat?

Okay, where do you live? I want one of those gray things you have
there. Hand it over slowly and no one will get hurt. I promise
whichever you hand over a good solid home with lots of toys, catnip,
love, and vet care.
I'm only half kidding. If you lived near hear, I really would drive and
catna...er get one. They are too cute. Of course, you are probably
keeping these two wonderful darlings to yourself.

LOL! No, I can't keep them. They were dumped out here about two weeks ago. Our
shelter is full and I didn't have any idea what to do with them. The good news
is, Pat is willing to adopt them if we can just get them there. Still working
on a plan. Purrs appreciated that we can make this work. It is a wonderful home
for them and quite frankly, they don't have a snowball's chance at a forever
home here. Kitten season is the worst ever here.

OK, I looked on it, it just says Olympus C2020Z. 3X optical zoom. 2.5X digital
tele. 2.1 megapixel. That's about all I know. The curious thing is, the color
of the kittens isn't right. They show to be lighter colored than they really
are.

They *are* very nice pictures. You really seemed to capture their
personalities. As for the coloring, I always have problems with
purple looking like blue, and I mean a true blue, not purple-blue.
And, a flash will change the color, like making pictures of Shadow
look brown rather than black.

None at all. I haven't laid eyes on her since that one time. I still put out
dry cat food every night. Sometimes it's gone, but most times it's not. I hope
nothing has happened to her. There are so many critters around at night it's
impossible to tell what is actually eating the food. :(

Thank you for those wonderful pics, Sherry.
It's supposed to be a little cooler next week so if my friend says no to
meeting you in OK for kitty transfer, I will just come and meet you myself
at the place we discussed.

No, that is too far for you. I am doing much better this week, and if luck
holds out I hope next week too. We'll find a place that's closer to you if your
friend can't relay them.

That would be fabulous. I wish your DH was off this weekend because that's
when it's supposed to be the coolest. I could make it then, too. But next
Tuesday will do also.

Shouldn't they be starting to settle down now, at their current age?
