I can't tell you how much time we spent going around the neighborhood
knocking on doors asking people "Is this your swimsuit?" (or towel or
shirt.) We had a little thief too.

And I thought only Burmese did this sort of thing!

A few years ago my sister had a domestic cat living next door who stole from
the neighbours, clothing, tablecloths, tea towels in fact anything that
wasn't nailed down - the cats name was Magpie!!

I had trouble finding this because the "front page" had changed since
Bev posted (danged google!). I eventually found it under "oddstuff"
(the left-hand menu)
