Persia is normally very polite. If she wants to wake me up, she taps me on
my shoulder. The last couple of days she's decided that is simply not good
enough. She's tapping me on my *ear*, then purring loudly in it. Okay,
okay! (I groan) I'm awake. I roll back over to snag a couple more Z's.
Next thing I know she's (gently) biting my ear, then tapping on it and
purring. Persia, if you swallow my earring, you're in BIG trouble girl! :o)
So what happens? I stagger to the kitchen to make coffee and her Highness
curls up and goes back to sleep. What did you wake me up for, you little
wench? LOL
Side note: I found a less expensive online supplier for that Hill's x/d
food the vet said she needed to eat. Good, because *I* won't be able to eat
if I have to keep paying $28 for 24 cans. Also ordered two bags of the dry.
When I take her for her post-op checkup tomorrow, I will take the jar of
Barley Cat with me and ask the vet what he thinks about her continuing to
have it. She adores the stuff and I figure she needs an occasional treat,
even if she is now tapping my ears.

glad to see someone else doent particularly like their wake up calls. Grizzy
jumps onto bed, walks over pillo and then lies down on top of me or if she
can find a ball thn it gets dropped on me as close to my eyes as she can.
Mistoffelees just launches himslef on the bed and stands near or on top of
me and whails loudly and continuously until my eyes open and i get up.

Little Bit and Rocky both do that sometimes - though not at the same
time, since Little Bit doesn't particulary like Rocky. As a matter of
fact, today it was Sammy patting me on the face to wake up, and when I
got up Rocky took over my spot on the bed. Drats, the one day I get to
sleep in this week and they conspire to get me out of bed.

She wanted the bed to herself! Mimi used to dream up all kinds of
ways to get Stinky interested in something else so she could scoot up
and have the whole thing to herself.

I guess I'm lucky that way Wilson will stay curled up even if not asleep
but when I open the bedside drawer to take the antibiotic I have to take
every morning he shoots if the bed as though he's thinking at last at last
she's up, and as I swing my legs to the floor he rolls overjust in front of
them
so I can rub his belly with my foot,he does trick me out of my chair though
