I know Harvey likes to go on the deck. I know Harvey likes to bang on the glass
to signal he wants to come back in. Still, late last night, while watching the
History Channel, I heard 'bangbanganbanga' and I thought one of our neighbors
had flipped his lid and was trying to get through the screen door. Then sanity
returned.

Sanity returned? I'm sorry to hear that (big grin).

This happened yesterday when I was making supper and I heard this big
thud against the window. Once the weird neighbour thoughts had finished
flashing through my head, I thought a bird had smucked the window. I
looked outside to see Mr. Cheapie, our Cardinal sitting in the tree
looking fine.
He normally hovers outside the kitchen window to get out attention if
the patio door is closed. I'm not sure if he saw his reflection in the
window and attacked the other bird or he REALLY WANTED HIS PEANUTS! He
did not seem any worse for the thud in any event.

That's cute. He's "knocking" on the door to get back in. Wish Frank would do
that. He hurls himself on the window screen and hangs his Siamese self there
and yowls. It's hard on the screens.

My grandma's cat, Pandora, used to fling herself up and hang from the
little window at the top of the door, and peek in. It looked like
there was a 6-foot tall cat outside. :P
