My newsserver has been down all weekend, so I haven't been able to
post (and, oh, my!  Over 500 posts!).

Got a phone call Saturday from Dave on the road, and we managed to
figure out how to get he and Patty to our place.  Timing was not
great, as I was just feeding the cats.  Trill did not even deign to
look up from his bowl to say "Howdy"!  lol!  Patty had a lot of fun
going around to each bowl and petting each cat, saying she really
missed her babies at home.  Sabra did his usual "pet me!  pet me!"
routine, and Patty happily obliged.

They kindly treated us to dinner at a Chinese Buffet.  One problem:
There was so much stuff in their vehicle, that we had to break up and
have half of us walk and half of us drive.  Luckily, I picked a place
that wasn't too terribly far.  So Dave and I drove while Patty and
Richard walked.  Had a lovely dinner and chat.  Dave regaled me with
funny stories of his wild youth ;-)

They are so cute together :-)

All in all, a lovely visit, and the first RPCAers I've met!  I'm no
longer a virgin now!  ;-)

I waved to them as they pulled out about 9 pm Saturday, headed for
Tennessee and from there to Arkansas.  Wishing them a safe rest of
their trip!
