Making itself at home

I bought a little wicker nest designed for small birds. I lined it with shreds
of soft tissue and placed it in with the rescues.

Within seconds, it was in use :-)

It is seriously cute :-)

It can definitely drink from the water supply to the cage and I've seen it
eating seed too - so hopefully it'll grow strong & recover fully quite soon.
