This morning, I was getting ready to take my shower - running the
water, putting my left foot under the water to test the temperature,
and so on. As the water reached the right temp, I started to pull the
shower curtain closed before switching water to the shower head.

I should mention that when someone sits the throne in the bathroom,
that Little Feet likes to jump up on the edge of the tub, so he gets
skritches. We also have a bolt-on safety rail that Senyah can grip
when she gets into and out of the tub. Little Feet likes to jump under
the lower bar, into an unused tub. Little Feet also likes to sit on
the tub and wait for people to finish in the shower.

This morning, either I was moving too fast, or Little Feet's timing
was too slow.

As I'm getting into the shower, I hear a thump. Another thump, and I
also feel cool air coming under the bottom of shower curtain.

I twitch back the shower curtain to see Little Feet madly grappling
the edge of the tub, and the safety rail, as he scrambles to get OUT
of the tub. Once outside the tub, he tries to jump up on the edge
again, but nearly overbalances himself, back into the tub.

Finally, embarassed, he walks out of the bathroom, while I call after
him, "Tiger, Little Feet. Are you okay, baby?"

It must have only injured his dignity, as he was on the edge of the
tub when I finished. As I pull back the shower curtain, he gives me a
sad look, and proceeds to tell me all about it while I dry off. Poor
tiger!

Oh, and I had to step oooooover him to get out, without throwing
myself back into the tub.

Poor Little Feet! Having one's dignity ruffled is just catastrophic ;o)!

Hhhaaa, great story. I'm not sure if it's the season or what, but my
little cat has been so clumsy the last week or so. She keeps misjudging
her jumps among other things. Of course I have to stiffle my laughter.
Only her dignity is hurt though. She is also one that believes the human
can not go to the bathroom by himself. Maybe it's because I always turn
on the bathroom sink faucet so she can drink and play. This cat loves
water and has been known to jump into the shower stall with me.

Takeoff is an option.
Landing is a must!

And in the end on wheels we will depend.

I know the feeling. There's always at least one outside the shower
when I get out, and they refuse to move. hehehe
