Also a question: I notice that it came from www.cartoon.ru Does
anyone know if this is an active site? After seeing this 'toon I tried
to go there to look, but my system kept timing out. I'm thinking there
may be a hangup in the 'net somewhere, though, since it seemed to take
forever for tinyurl.com to do it's thing.

It's really hard to get to servers in Russia a lot. I try to download
classical guitar music off servers over there (boy, they have youngsters
that play outstandingly) and it is VERY slow and sometimes futile. My sister
sent me this cartoon once. I got to the server to see if there were more.
I'll tell you, besides being slow, it's just a wee bit racy ;) At any
rate, it's really slow to get stuff from any server east of Germany. I
expect the phone infrastructure is pretty archaic.

Just tried to go there again, and still timing out... aw, well,
probably not worth the effort to look at the rest of the site. After
all, there must be a gazillon other cute/funny sites just waiting to
be discovered.

The server exists and is running Apache, but access to the default
page is forbidden and all the internal links I was able to find throw
404 (not found) errors. I suspect a server meltdown in the recent
past ... or somebody didn't pay his bill.
