The little buggars are growing like weeds! They are still battling
ringworm, but we seem to be winning, special help to the LymDyp (sulferated
lime solution) that I've been spraying on them every 3rd day. But I don't
spray in their faces or ears (don't want them getting ear infection from
having liquid running down into the ear canal, and who wants anything
sprayed into their face, especially a CAT?), but instead have been dabbing
their faces & ears with a cotton ball saturated with the stuff. The
instructions said to BATHE them before use, but I only did that the fist
time as it was sheer torture for them (and me), and to use it every 5 - 7
days. I do it every 3 - 4 days, but in-between the total body spritz, I
only do the affected areas.
One of DH's coworkers is interested in taking a kitten or two, but we're not
giving them up until all signs of ringworm are gone.
The new piccies start here:
http://community.webshots.com/photo/143920530/159671092Bqdnet
Eenie: I think there's a bit of ragdoll in his genetic makeup as just about
every time I pick him up, he becomes a fur covered purrbag. I've also
started calling him Ernie (makes more sense when separated from his
siblings) - DH called him Arley once, in reference to actor and host of
History Channel's show 'Mail Call', R. Lee Ermey. I think he's ready for
another growth spurt, as the others are catching up with him
Meanie - when she's not being a lap-leach, she tries to live up to her name!
She loves to sneak-attack on her siblings (Weeble included). But once she
tires of that, she wants to be fed and/or held, and comes to me for that.
Once I get her to fall asleep purring in my arms, I will hand her to DH
(he's totally smitten by her), but within 5 minutes, she's looking for me.
Poor DH, getting spurned by a mere kitten :(
Minnie - you can definitely tell that she's related to Weeble: she's always
nosey whenever DH or I are eating. Doesn't matter what, she wants to find
out. I don't know how many times I've drug her away from Weeble's food dish,
put her at the FF's dish, only to have her go back to Weeble's - until I put
Weeble's out of her reach. I've taken to calling her Minnie-the-moocher.
She gets her face in your plate (or bag of chips), unless you're holding it
out of reach, then she tries to intercept the food en route to your mouth.
Actually stuck her face in my open mouth (OK, I did it on purpose, was
curious to see how curious she was, and apparently she's VERY curious - I
almost inhaled her). Likes to hide under the bed & attack ankles as you
walk past (which is usually me as 'my side' of the bed is on the far side.
Moe - is becoming more friendly, but still doesn't like being held for long
periods. Likes to mooch, but not nearly as bad about it as Minnie. Also
like pouncing on feet, ankles and knees while we're trying to sleep. I
guess she's trying to protect us from the evil bed-monsters, and sometimes
she recruits her sisters & her brother(s). If they won't join her in the
attack, the themselves get attacked, and we end up with a free-for-all on
the bed, until one (or more) fall off when they roll to the edge. Of course
they climb right back up & it starts all over again.

oh my god, they are growing so big! So sweet. I love how Weebles is sharing
a nap with his half-brother. Hope the ringworm clears up SOON so they can go
to their loving homes.

Boy are they getting big!
I like zonked out. It is a tough long climb up that cat tree.

Not these kitties - they go up that thing lickety-split! If you blink,
you'd miss the action! It's the number of times that they run up & down it
that wears them out!

Which reminds me that my mumble year old wallpaper is a contoured vinyl
that is *ideal* for cats to climb up. Well, kittens; until they get too
heavy and just rip it off the wall. In fact, I've got a photo of Sally
doing just that somewhere... hang on... I'll just go look...

She was an adorable kitten! I love the ones of her in the yard, sniffing
around, and sitting in the spider plant (jungle cat!).
She's grown from a cute little fuzzbutt into a beautiful, sleek cat.

It's a Draconis [if you liked it] and yes, I couldn't believe it when
she backed up next doors d*g - it always amazes me how tolerant animals
are of the young. And the fact that they recognise the young of other
species. They got to be quite friendly in the end. The end being that
my neighbours have moved now.
>She's grown from a cute little fuzzbutt into a beautiful, sleek cat.
Yep. IF the light is right. Sunlit from the back you can still see the
slight banding and the fact that her fur is slightly different lengths
and textures and still "breaks" when she curls up.

Oh, not a spider? Thanks for the correction.

Including the human species! Cats seem to put up with no end of abuse
from very young children that they'd never tolerate from an adult human.

Er, um. It _might_ be called a spider but I know for sure that it's a
Draconis. It's a variegated one too with a nice deep purple stripe along
the edges of each leaf.

Sally is absolutely beautiful. Stunning. And she has so much
personality. It's also neat how you were able to photograph those
slight tabby markings in one of the pics.

I don't know if I mentioned it on her page but I got her from my
neighbour's stables. She was one of four and I picked up each in turn
and set them on my lap. Sally was the only one who stayed there. In
fact she stayed there for every sleeping hour of the next six weeks.

Adorable little FF's (along with the rest of your crew!) Goodness, I don't

Actually outside of the expense 2 or 3 or 4 are really not that much
more work than one. Cats usually tend to follow each others lead.

But the sense of their presence inceases geometrically instead of
arithmetically-- when you add one cat to one cat, you don't really
have only two cats-- you suddenly have cats everywhere.;) When I had
only Stinky and Mimi, there was literally a cat everywhere I looked.
Which was fine of course. ;)
