I figured out one of the reasons Harvey was so antsy lately. He hadn't had any
place to crouch on the weird, wicker thingamabob we have in the living room.
Now he does. He's happy and accepts lovin' and the doggies can't annoy him up
there.

And speaking of such, my dad put a little flag in the front lawn. I just took
the dogs out. And Louie's brain spotted it. And it went 'OMG something new in
my territory oh my god oh my god run run run run sniff sniff sniff ok it's
fine'.

At least he didn't pee on it. ;)

When I was in 8th grade, I had to catch the school bus in front of a
friend's house each day.  One morning, he realized that he had left
one of his books in the house, so he set his other books down on the
ground, set his sack lunch on top of the books, and went back inside.
When he went back in, his dog slipped out the door, and came over to
me for a head scratch.  He then went over to Mark's books and lunch,
sniffed them, lifted his leg, and anointed the lunch.  Mark was _not_
happy when he came back out and I told him why his lunch bag was now
wet.

You always have great relevant stories from your past.  When you were
in college...  When you were in grad school...  Lots and lots of
things sure have happened to you over the years. :)

Thanks for the compliment.  I am 46, so it is partly that I have had
time for a lot of things to happen, but part of it is that I enjoy
talking about my experiences.  I just wish that I was as good at
story-telling as Dave Yehudah.
