The Wonderful Waffles sent me a couple of pictures of her gorgeous self (her
hoomins purchased a digital camera), and though I like to keep my beautiful
Waffles to myself, I don't mind sharing her pictures, so everyone can see
the empress of my heart with her perpetual wink:

Purring happily,
Frankie (who used the Mothership and mind-melding techniques too complicated
for lowly hoomins to understand to get to see these pictures on the island)

She is certainly beautiful, but I am still very scared of her. ;)

She sure is purrty!

BTW, what's that metallic tube thing she's always carrying on her
collar?  A whistle for calling her hoomins?  A flashlight?

Looks like a whistle of some kind to me.

Looks like a container for name and address of slaves to me. You know, a
little, rolled up piece of paper inside the cylinder.

That's what it is. It's what played a large part in her life being saved when
she had an argument with a motor vehicle a few years ago. All the cats have
collars with bells & ID tags on.

That's very clever!  I used to think that they only did that with
messages in bottles, carrier pigeons, and such.

It would be neat if the cylinder also has a little flag that you can
set when there's a message in it for someone. :)

Gosh you're lucky!  The longest Sally has ever worn a collar was four
hours!

I used to buy the breakaway types [expensive darn it] because there's a
lot of shrubbery hereabouts that she could get snagged in.  After six
collars, along with the ID gizmos, I gave up and had her chipped.  So if
she ever gets lost, not that she travels far from home, I stand a good
chance of getting her back.

You can ignore the ones of Francis and Marble, as they don't count.
