Thanks, Karen,

I've done this, so my album will be available through the group, now.  I've
also made my Yahoo "The Cats I Love" file public. I HOPE that will make it
accessible to everyone.  I apologize for all the confusion, and thanks for
all the help and suggestions, everyone.

I took TK and Cesca to the vet for a checkup this morning, and TK has
doubled in size since birth! Cesca is doing well, also. She's eating and
playing and climbing me when not actually tending TK so I assume she's
feeling normal again.  Everyone at the vet's office was cooing over her and
TK. And yes, it looks like I have a little She. So now I have to find a
worthy permanent name for her. =o)

Cesca seems to be a really excellent mother. Good to hear they are both
doing so well.

Just a suggestion here;  how about Marcellina.
It goes with Franchesca and you can call her Marcy.

Love the pictures.  (And appreciate the effort to make them available)

How about Tiki for a name?  Unless of course she tells you that won't do.

TK really is TINY!! Adorable.  So is Cesca. How old is Pan?  What nice cats

free it would be like a bonus!

Well... yes, I think it will prove impossible to give TK up for adoption.
She's wiggled herself pretty firmly into the family, and I couldn't take
Francesca's one lone kitten away from her.  At first, I thought  "Jeez
well... there's nothing I can do until the kitten is at least two months
old,  but after that, I'll give her over to the vet's office for
placement..."  This resolve didn't even last the first week! <G> So, I guess
for a while I'm going to have three kitties. <G>

Pan is now sixteen, but a fairly young sixteen with the help of some thyroid
medication.  He stops by the kitten's box and sniffs at her  now and then,
and I think he'd REALLY appreciated it if I'd stop bringing home new
kittens. <G>  But otherwise he's fairly resigned to the whole circus.   Last
night though, he and I were having a love and cuddle session as I was trying
to read in bed.  In the middle of this, Cesca jumped up ON the book to join
us, and I swear Pan told her the feline equivalent of  "Buzz off, youngster,
it's MY turn for some attention around here!!"  Even though it looked like a
hiss, growl and swat affair. =o)

I figured. I mean, how can you give up ONE kitten :)  Pan will probably
become better than resigned eventually and it will be nice and gradual.

We've called cats like Cesca "Trojan cats". :)

To which I add a healthy LOL!!! I was also thinking that yesterday. =o) This
of course was a much nicer surprise, once I was over the Shocked and Awed
stage. <G>  I was also thinking of those cereal boxes I went pawing through
as a kid, looking for the "surprise" inside. =o)

This morning Cesca decided TK would be safer in my bedroom closet, and
removed the kitten there without informing me, first.  I found out about it
when I looked into the box and NO KITTEN!! Talk about near heart failure!
Fortunately, I knew the kitten couldn't have gone far, and couldn't go
ANYWHERE very quickly.  I was frantically  looking under my bed, under my
bureau and the computer desk, saying  "Cesca!! We have to find your baby!!
Where's your kitten, Cesca????" I should have taken my clue from her, as she
was very calm and collected about the whole thing. Finally, with the feline
equivalent of rolling her eyes, she went over to the closet. And there
behind my needle-point bag was TK, curled up and having a nap, quite safe.
=o)  I put the kitten back in the box temporarily, vacuumed up the dust, and
spread a towel over the floor.  So now TK and Mama are residing at one end
of my closet, and I have rigged up an enclosure under my sweater thingie to
keep my little explorer from getting lost in the dark recesses of my closet.
This is at least as much to keep me from panicking as it is to keep the
little wanderer safe. =o) Her eyes should open very soon, I think.

We had a cat that would move her kittens almost daily! Cesca just needed a
safer place :)

What a scare! Cesca sounds like a very good mother, and she knows cat
mothers are supposed to move around their kittens now and then to keep them
safe. I LOLed at the "feline equivalent of rolling her eyes", don't we all
know that look. I'm looking forward to your updates, they are all a pleasure
to read.

Always good news to hear when the furry ones get a clean bill of
health from TED. Nice to know TK is doing well and outgrowing the TK
name. Shouldn't be too long before she starts showing her personality,
which should help with naming her.

AWWWWW!  How sweet -- thanks for the photos; hope to see more as TK grows.
How is your other kitty handling all this?  Sorry, forgot his/her's name.
