Dear New Cat loving friends,

I got some pictures of TK back from the photolab, today! =o)For those who
would like to see pics,  I have put together a kitten album at ofoto, with
the best pictures I have so far. And yes, one or two pictures of TK's mama,
and Uncle Panther. =o)  And one of the late, beloved Isadora so you can see
what she looked like. Here is the link:

http://www.ofoto.com/AlbumMenu.jsp?&&

If the link doesn't work, I apologize, I'm very new at this. If it doesn't,
I'll do my best to fix it.  New photos will be added as I get them.  You
want the "My New Album--Kitten Diary" just to make all obvious. I also
apologize that some of the pictures of TK are not very clear, especially in
the pics of TK all alone.  In the pics of TK and Mama, look for the kitten
between Cesca's front and hind legs.

Thanks!

Melissa

Okay.... Addendum.  I just tried the link and it takes you to the login
screen at Ofoto, but not to my personal photo album.  I'd rather not put my
Ofoto account password on the NG, but you can e-mail me if you're interested
in seeing the album, and I'll send you a personal invite that will let you
view it.  (If somebody has a better idea to simplify this, I'm all ears.)
Sorry for the confusion!

Have you checked that your Yahoo-album is marked Public and not Private.
It needs to be Public for us others to be able to access it.
You can either "share and album" or mark specific albums as public in
the settings. To reach the settings, go into the album, click on "Edit
Album Info" at the top of the album area, and click Edit Settings under
the header Advanced Sharing Settings to change from Private (which is
the default) to Public (and I also have ticked off Order Restriction).
Hope this helps.

May have just been Yahoo acting up - or of course you may have
switched the album setting before I clicked on the link. Of course,
Yah*ll has also been known to chance our settings on its own, for no
apparent reason. Anyway, no problem when I went to look at the pix.

Awww, such a wonderful mama, and TK certainly lives up to the tiny
kitten moniker.

Awww, what a cute little blob of a kitten!  ;-)

Your Isadora was a beautiful girl; your current furfamily is gorgeous as well.

I took them both in for a check up this morning--nothing was wrong, the vet
just wanted to make sure Cesca's incision was healing up well.  He also
weighed the kitten and announced with great satisfaction that she had
doubled her weight since birth. =o) He said very confidently to bring TK
back for her first shots at  eight weeks, no more mention of  "I don't know
if the kitten will make it." The receptionist was cooing over TK =o)

Isadora was a wonderful girl, lots of personality, and she could be almost
oppressively affectionate.  Her full name was Isadora Duncat, as in her
youth, she would go for her toys with enormous, balletic leaps through the
air. I adopted her and Panther on the same day when they were both 8 week
old kittens.  I still miss her very much, although I confess I do NOT miss
the way she took to peeing on my bed in her last months.  That sort of thing
takes much love to tolerate, and I didn't always tolerate it well, as I
thought it was more of a behavior problem than a health problem.  I
ultimately lost Izzy to kidney failure.

Cesca is a very different cat girl with much sweetness of her own, although
I confess, I chose her for her beauty.  You never know where these things
will lead! <G>  She is a perfect lady about using the cat box, though, which
is a very great blessing.
