General purrs for the bereaved

I'm afraid I've been out of action for a while following brief
hospitalisation to sort out a renegade root canal infection, so I'd
like to issue a belated mega-purr to those of the Group who've
recently been bereaved, or whose nearest & dearest have suffered a
loss.
There's plenty of empathy in this household as we've lost our share
too. We all hope that fond memories will console you once the
immediate pain & grief has subsided.

BTW while my face was swollen & tender my "boys" were very good about
snuggling down nearby & looking after me. How do you suppose they
knew?

Purrs for your continued recovery.
Kitties seem to know when you need a bit of TLC.

Purrs coming to you too. Hope you're over it now. As for how the nurse
kitties knew.... well it just seems they do ;-))

Purrs for your poor face and purrs to the boys for being such good
nursecats. I sympathise deeply, as I'm undergoing three root canal
treatments right now. Fortunately, they all seem to be healing very well and
only one of them caused any pain in the first place.

Duh! The Mothership told them how else?

PawEss that you're feeling better ASAP.

Many thanks to those who responded with good wishes for my recovery.
Hopefully not tempting fate it's going OK so far.

The "boys" received their reward in a Big way today for their nursing:
doubtless as a result of their brainwaves, amplified by the
Mothership,
I decided to defrost the fridge. As a result they received not one but
Two
giant helpings of coley (Coalfish) today. They're now so full they had
to
leave some (from the 2nd load) and they're too busy sleeping off their
bulging tummies to bother to ask for more.

Good behaviour brings its reward, fair enough. But how do I explain
the return to ordinary food tomorrow? (I really can't afford daily
treats
like this, fish is pricier than fillet steak in the UK nowadays).

Arggh, a root canal where everything goes *right* is bad enough!  Ozzy
and Tiger send healing purrs your way.
