The subject line should say it all. Gosh, what a good cat I have! She's
not fussing with her incision at all. And she got over being pilled (thanks
for the suggestion, Flippy!) last night and curled up next to me after
kneading my side for a considerable length of time.
This morning she was running around the apartment, and when I started my
bath she was right up there peering in the tub and meowing, "What, you're
going to dunk yourself in water again?" Jumped up on the bathroom counter
to make sure I hadn't left anything fun for her to play with, like hair
bands or Q-tips. Then she just sat down and talked to me while I bathed.
She had to sit in my lap for a bit while I read emails and posts; she rubbed
her head against my chest and purred like mad. (How could anyone have
abandoned this darling cat?) Now she's curled up on the cushion next to me,
having a cat nap. :)

A house is not a home, without a cat.

I am so glad she recovered so fast and is doing so well. I saw her
belly. You have a good vet. I wonder why some cats bother their
incisions and some don't. Purrs and scritches.

Thanks, Catherine! Yes, I think I have an excellent vet. I don't know; I
was surprised the insicion wasn't larger. Maybe that's why it's not bugging
her? I do know her dignity has suffered slightly but not overwhelmingly.
She's going to grow that fur back in no time :) Thanks for the purrs (I
just gave her neck scritches for you).

You're lucky that you can pill her so easily. What sweetums!

Awww, what a sweetie. I'm glad she's doing well, and hope the surgery
insures no more nasty stubborn UTIs for her. Please give her a
scritch for me.

Jill,
I'm glad to read that Persia's making a good recovery. =o) They can scare
us so badly, but those emergency vet bills are worth it when they come home
and thank us for saving their lives in their sweet way. Whoever was silly
enough to abandon Persia obviously didn't deserve her. It was obviously a
blessing in disguise for Persia too, since she found a much better human
mother to love her.
Cesca's beginning to hop up on my shoulder when I work at the computer
again, and she and I had a play session this morning. Next to TK, she looks
like a full grown cat. It's not until she stands next to Pan that I see how
young and small she still is.

Glad to hear she's doing well - even taking the pills without too much
fuss. Purrs for complete recovery, with no recurrance of those pesly
UTIs
