BIL John and I drove from Riverside to Flagstaff to spend some time with
some of the most delightful people I've ever met. Unfortunately I
managed to seriously strain shoulder muscle so can not type much right
now. Hope later it will be possible to say more.
Cheers,
Dave

No matter how cynical you get, it's impossible to keep up.
When Clinton lied, no one died.

Dave, May you recover soon and tell us about your meeting with the
Shirks. I would love to meet them and envy you :) I am only sad that
they are not in one of the areas we will be visiting when we travel in
August!

Oops. I hope your shoulder gets better. It's great how everyone is
getting to meet the Shirks!

Love these updates...how cool! And I can track their route too ;-) Too bad
about your shoulder, purrs.

Sandpaper kisses, a cuddle and a purr. I have an alarm clock that's covered
in fur!

Dave, it's all your fault. You had me laughing so much that I hurt my
sides. Now you've hurt your shoulder. You should know better.
Plan on posting about the trip so far, but am using my MIL's puter so
don't want to hog the thing. We need to arrange a RPCA convention so
that we can stick you over in the story teller's corner and entertain
us all.
Rob's birthday is today. His mom bought him candles for the numbers 4
and 2. I showed her that she should turn the 2 upside down and put it
before the 4. She liked the idea, but I don't think Rob was all that
amused.
Love to all and enjoying our time out of muggyland.

Happy birthday, Rob. Looks as if I'll be driving around the country
visiting friends and family, myself. Ourselves? Anyhow, over the next
three weeks we'll be driving up to Las Vegas, then Des Moines, then
Ypsilanti for a week. From there down to Arkansas, across to Dallas,
then home. About 6000 miles or so.
Anyone wants to say "Howdy" on the way by, give a shriek

Hey, Dave, if you come through Ohio on your way from Michigan to
Arkansas, let me know! I'm in Columbus, and would love for y'all to
stop by and say "howdy"!

At least I'm not the only one! If anyone is coming through Oregon let
me know. Anywhere west of the Cascade Range is fairly easy for me, and
given the incentive, I might be able to haul myself over the mountains
to Central or Eastern Oregon. I'd love to meet other craz...I mean RPCA
people! However, if you want to meet Brenna, you'll have to come to our
place. She *really* doesn't like being in the car.

This is great - just like one of PC's voyages. Happy birthday, Rob!
