Harvey really doesn't enjoy zerbeting. (That is, rubbing your face in his
stomach)

Willow: Then talk. Keep eye contact. Funny is good, but don't be glib. And
remember, if you hurt her, I will beat you to death with a shovel. A vague
disclaimer is nobody's friend. Have fun.

Hey! New word! Zerbeting. Wow. You are brave.

Felix sometimes loves it, sometimes merely tolerates it.

Thanks but I didn't invent it.

Joe HATES that.  And he loves laying on his back with his big fluffy warm
inviting white tummy exposed, tempting me to come zerbert him so he can claw
my face right off my head.

He doesn't even like his tummy rubbed.  It's total human torture.

He's doing right now...

No wonder my son calls him "Evil Kitty".

You should come over here. Felix *loves* tummy rubs, and is normally
at least tolerant of human faces in tummy fur [I call that "fuzz
therapy", from a Calvin and Hobbes strip].

I'm right there with you.  Mischief and Imp will tolerate a tummy rub
for about two seconds before attacking the hand.

Mischief will on some occasions like it, as long as I'm scritching her
head or back at the same time.  Full body massage.  :)

But most of the time an open tummy is a Hand Trap

Harvey seems to like toe nudges. When he's sprawled out like a dead monkey, I
nudge his tummy and he whacks at my feet.

I just did that to Frank, and he stretched out and said PPPUUUUURRRRRRR!

Then I did it to Nikki, and she purred, but she had this pained look on her
face, as if saying, "OK, if you absolutely have to do that, do it, but will
this be over soon?"

Aww, Sammy's like Nikki. She tolerates hoomin cuddling, even purrs a
little, but has that same look.

Sandpaper kisses, a cuddle and a purr. I have an alarm clock that's covered
in fur!
