Pam and her wonderful family stopped by our house on their trip west on
Tuesday night -- we ate, talked about our respective "masters", Dungeons and
Dragons, politics, and a bazillion other things, often at the same time, so
the volume level often got quite high! I know my DH, Byron, who normally is
a quiet soul, must have been overwhelmed by the tide and volume of talk!
Pam daughter, Amanda, worked her kitty mesmerizing skills on Oreo, one of
our shyest kitties, so well that Oreo lifted her sleepy head off the cat
tree for more, more, more scritches! We did introduce all our kitties but
had to put up Tucker and Midnight 'cause they were both getting overstimmed.
However, Omar, Robin, and Oreo hung out with us. Pam and Rob regaled us
with many an amusing kitty tale from what seems to be quite a large store
and they literally had Celeste rolling on the floor with laughter. We think
Amanda, their son, Mike, and our son Alex had some interesting conversations
being the teen factors of the group but, hey, we were too busy yakking
ourselves to listen to them!
They are a warm, hilarious family and I think we all had a great time. I
will post piccies as soon as I get them developed and scanned!
Regards,
Christine
