I had to go ahead and take Persia for boarding this morning rather than this
afternoon.  I found her urinating outside the box and there was blood in the
urine.  So, I scooped her up (YOWLLLLLLLL) and went ahead and took her to
her vet where she boards.  I explained the situation so they will check her
out immediately and start her on any meds/special food she needs.  She
already eats UTI food. (sigh)  Purrs for Persia, please.

Poor baby!  This must be why she was so fussy.  My apologies for
accusing her of reading your email.  Purrs, Persia!

Maybe this is why she has been so clingy the last few days. I hope she
feels better soon.

Yes, I suspect that is the case.  Clingy and "fussy".  Yesterday evening she
was meowing constantly every time I walked towards the kitchen.  I figured
she just wanted a treat or something and I didn't give her anything.  But I
did, a couple of times, pick her up and take her to my chair and pat her
while she purrrrrrred away.  Content to be in my arms, being comforted.

Poor thing.  They'll take good care of her and they have my cell # and also
the # for my brother if for some reason they can't reach me.

Purrs and prayers that Persia's UTI gets fixed soon. I know what it's like
to have a cat with a UTI. Have a safe trip.

Oh, poor kitty! I wonder if it flares up from stress? If she really does
sense you're leaving, that is, and that she'll need to be boarded. I'm glad
she's at your vet's, though - so she can get good care while you're gone.

Purrs for her to get better fast, and for you to have a nice trip!

Purrs for Persia.  I guess this is the real reason she was acting so
clingy and funny.  :(

So that is why she was hanging out around your luggage, trying to tell
you she didn't feel good. Poor darling. We are sending many purrs to
get well and greet you with joy when you get back. have a good time
knowing persia is in good hands.

Awww, poor Persia.  Those UTIs can be stubborn.  Mike's sending BTDT
purrs her way, hoping she's better soon.

Poor Persia!  I had a UTI once myself and it was no fun at all.
