Meowmie reigns triumphant (at least for the moment!).  Persia has been
pestering, pestering all day - out, out, outside in the Kitty Walk
pleeeeease?  I had her out twice already.  Simply wasn't enough.  Okay,
girl, but it's going to rain.  OW-OW-OUT!

So out she goes.  I go about my business.  Look outside, yes, it's started
to sprinkle!  (Just a tiny bit.)  I look out, Persia is frantically pawing
at the ground like maybe she can dig herself a hole to crawl into.  I open
the door - MEOOOOWWWW!  I let her inside and said rather smugly, "Told'ya
so" :)  She's now washing herself to get rid of the insidious raindrops.

The thing is, I don't know why you bothered arguing.  You're just
lucky she didn't want to be let out all the other doors and windows to
sample the weather there.

Great story Jill. I am going to get me one of those kitty walks or
whatever they're called. I need one for my patio. I moved into another
apartment (My ghosts haven't followed me yet. Seems kinda lonely) about
2 weeks ago. I'm on the second floor and off one end of the balcony
there is access to a roof that covers our garages. Straight out off the
balcony is a view of birdies, people, cars, etc. Typical kitty TV.
Anyway my younger cat, who is indoor only, has discovered the roof. I'm
afraid she'll jump to the ground and get run over or lost. I've already
had to go out on the roof and get her. My new neighbors love to watch
the crazy cat guy chase the furball on the roof. So I appreciate the
link you posted a while back. When it comes in Missy Mouse or Mouse for
short will love you for it! My other cat Psycho could care less about
going "outside."

That's what they are called.  They are a tad on the expensive side ($99 for
the 6 foot enclosure - last year I added the "kitty cabana" at the end to
provide some shade/shelter).  I've had mine for 3 years now and she loves
it.  It's a great way to let indoor cats have a taste of the outdoors
without having to worry over them.

LOL  Bob, I wish I could *see* this!  And be careful!  I can see the
headline now:  "Man Falls Off Roof; Cat Laughs".

So I appreciate the
