I sent Christine the messages I received for update 9. Here is her response:

Hi Mom,
Thanks for the nice comments from your crazy cat group! You can let them
know that the local restaurant owner called me back and left me a message
that she named the little med. hair female Nani (means beautiful in
Hawaiian), that she has settled in and is doing really well. She said she
is so happy with her, thanked me for being so kind, and gave me her address
and told me to stop by anytime to say hi and visit.

aw, so sweet to hear that one of the kitties has found a happy slave. Here's
hoping the rest do too.

Thank you for your concern. No need to worry.
As of Friday, all the kittens have been placed in carefully selected homes.
All the new slaves have promised to spay/neuter and not declaw.
This was the first feedback my daughter received from one of the new homes.
She asked me to share it with the group.
