When I saw it, I couldn't believe it. He was in the empty plastic-coated
wire dish drainer on the kitchen counter. How can it be the least bit
comfortable???
I didn't have the heart to chase him out. He now spends several hours a day
in the thing, and I let the dishes dry on a towel on another section of
counter.

Mickey (the neighbor's cat that lives with me when their grandkids are
visiting) likes the plastic grill of a tipped over box fan - it's a
whole bunch of parallel plastic slats on edge, but it is eight inches
or so off the floor (but then there is no insulation under him so he
should get cold - who knows why cats do these things?).
