Well, it looks like (really adorable!) kitten fuzziness to me.  Brenna
was described as a "medium-hair" kitty at the shelter.  To my eyes,
having grown up with a long-haired cat, her fur is mostly short (and
black) with a lot of downy undercoat and a few stray long hairs
(generally white).  Maybe she could fudge the description of the kittens
by saying they are medium-hair?

What a little darling. She looks to me like a short-hair, and around 5-6
weeks old. The others are a bit too far away to tell re. coat length,
but I would hazard a guess that the 3 on the straw bale are also short
hair.... just a guess though! :-)

Having a herd of kitties(in all sizes, shapes, ages and fur lengths)...I can
state with adsurance said kitties(especially #6) will be short haired...Cute
little kitties they be:-) Liz

Also forgot to say...looking again at #6 she appears  to going through her
eye color change...(or is it the photo?) making her, in my guess closer to
8/9 weeks old...JMTCW

HOW CUTE!!!  I love that wedge on her face.  She really doesn't look
anything like the others, does she.  It does make you wonder if the
mother cat went and raided someone elses litter when her kittens went
gone.  She also looks older and like someone said, her eyes look they
are changing while the other kittens don't.

She looks to be a shorthair to me, as that's pretty much what LB's
babies looked like when they were fuzz balls. If I had to guess age,
I'd say around 6 or 7 weeks - but I'm no expert so am going on my
memory of LB's babies

Awww, so adorable!  Looks shorthair to me.  Vino was like that as a kitten.
I hoped he's turn out to be a longhair, but he's shorthair, although his
hair is very fluffy and soft, like rabbit fur.  I love it :-)

Aww! I think she is a shorthair, and trying to look at the other ones, I
think they are, too, but it's hard to tell from that picture.
