My son, Chris, and I are back from our ten days at Best Friends Animal
Sanctuary (and only 1497 RPCA posts to catch up on).

Some of  you asked me to tell you all about it - - but I'd have to
write a book, only to barely scratch the surface!

Pam asked where in Utah the Sanctuary is located.  It's in Angel
Canyon near the tiny town of Kanab, close to the Arizona border.  And,
yes, Joyce, the canyonland in south Utah is - - fantabulous!!!
Stunning!!  Breathtaking!!  In particular around nearby Zion National
Park.  Nature took what is essentially a large pile of rocks, sculpted
them into a myriad of incredible formations, and brushed her designs
with earthy paints of red, brown, white, tan, and green, against her
bright blue sky and its dainty puffs of white clouds.   Awesome!!!

The Sanctuary is, first and foremost, the animals; all kinds - -
horses, goats, birds, dogs, cats, rabbits - - each of whom was
rescued from one thing or another.  But I really,*really* want to talk
about the kitties!!  So if you don't mind, I'll post a separate
"chapter" on them in a day or two.

It's good to be in touch with RPCA again.

  Jeanne.

Hi Jeanne,
For some time now I have been getting the magazine and contributing to
Best Friends. I haven't had a chance to get
there, but, I would sure like to go.
I'm looking forward to your posts.
Sincerely,
Doreen

That sounds like an awesome trip!  My parents have been to Zion National
park and all their pictures are soooo great.  I'd love to go there one day.
Can't wait to hear about all the kitties :-)

Wow, we'll be driving right through there.  I'll have to see if we can
find a way to visit.  Thanks JB.
