It is such a nice warm day, so i called the cats to let them out. They
all tried to get through the door at the same time! They exploded
across the patio to turn the corner to the prime hunting grounds on
the north side of the house. Sheba, at 13, is a dignified old lady who
walks with deliberation and conservation of energy. But suddenly she
became a projectile and landed under the bird feeder! Alas, she
couldn't seem to switch to flying mode. The mourning dove wickered
away to safety.

Your Sheba sound like my Psycho. Psycho is 13 also. Last weekend I
moved into a new apartment much to Psycho's dislike. My younger cat
Mouse loved the new place from the start. Anyway, the new place has a
set of carpeted stairs going from inside the apt. down to the front door
and the garage. Psycho, who usually walks slow and reserved now loves to
tear up and down those stairs chasing her sister. It's the first time
either of them had a place with stairs. It's amazing because I thought
Psycho was getting too old to race around like that.
