That brown cat that I nicknamed Chocolate is back again.  He used to hang
around our house a few months ago, always sleeping under the patio table.
He used to yowl at the sliding glass doors and Vino completely ignored him.
Then he quit coming around, although I did see him in the neighbourhood.
Well, today he is back.  And Vino's not ignoring him this time!  They are
yowling at each other through the kitchen window.  Chocolate has a typical
loud Siamese voice and Vino has his perfectly enunciated "pretty boy" meow.
When Chocolate moves from the driveway to the patio, Vino runs from the
kitchen to the living room to keep track of him.  Then they yowl at each
other through the patio doors.  When Chocolate loses interest and quits
meowing and begins to move away, Vino comes up to me and meows at *me*!
LOL!  Well, at least it's not a boring day for Vino today!

Sandpaper kisses, a cuddle and a purr. I have an alarm clock that's covered
in fur!

I guess Chocolate finally got what he wanted - Vino's attention.  I
also give the neighborhood callers names based on their appearance.
The one that comes around my yard the most I call Cream Cat.  None of
them yowl at Betty, but they do sometimes look in curiously.

There's a roly-poly tomcat who come around, and sits on the porch and
taunts Stinky.    Stinky always gets a fuzztail when he comes around.
;)   I call him "Newman," after the obnoxious character on Seinfeld.
