Hi all,

Since Saturday, Celeste and I have noticed that Tucker seems to be sore on
his left hip so I took him in to the vet today and it looks like he got bit
by some-furry-one here and might have the start of an abcess.  I left him at
the vet so they could anesthetize, shave and check his injury closer but so
far he is still in line for the procedure to be done due to emergencies.
Any purrs for him would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Christine

Hi, Christine.  Purrs for Tucker's hind quarters to heal quickly.

Thank you all for the purrs; he's home, not very happy, he did indeed have
an abcess and now has a drain tube and goes back Thursday to get it taken
out.  He will be kept back in Celeste's room probably till then.  Tonight
Celeste went with me to get him, she read to him, and is sleeping on the
floor on her blankets to be near him...

Purrs that he recovers completely from the abscess. Those are no fun. Frank
had one last summer, and since it's very difficult to get to a vet from the
island, I had to tend it myself. That stench is something awful! Scritches
to Tucker, and a few scritches to Celeste, too, for being such a good little
Meowmie. ;o)

What a good slave in training Celeste is. :) More purrs that he heals well
and that Thursday goes well. Glad he's home!

Aww, poor Tucker. Purrs that the abscess heals quickly. Frank will abscess
anytime he gets a puncture wound. We've never had to have a tube, though. Poor
little guy.

Purrs are on the way for Tucker.  At least an abscess is relatively easy to
treat.
